- 4PM – 7PM: Winter Color Guard (8th-12th grade). Meet in the THS Cafeteria. Wear clothes good for movement.
- 4PM – 7PM (new time): Winter Drum Line (8th-12th grade) & Winter Cadet Drum Line (6th-8th grade). Meet in the THS Band Room. Wear clothes good for movement and closed toe shoes.
What is Winter Drum Line and Winter Color Guard?
Winter guard is an indoor color guard sport derived from military ceremonies or veterans organizations ceremonies. Modern winter guard incorporates choreographed dance with flags and non-functioning rifles and sabers, along with other props. Unlike traditional color guard, Winter Guard is performed indoors, usually in a gymnasium or an indoor arena. Performances make use of recorded music rather than a live band or orchestra.

Winter Drumline consists of the marching percussion (or battery) and front ensemble (pit or frontline) sections of a marching band or drum corps. Indoor percussion marries elements of music performance, marching, and dance theater.
