Tigard High Band & Auxiliary Booster July 2019 Update


Hi all, hope you are having a good or better summer so far. Please forgive us if you receive this and your child is no longer part of the program, we are still transitioning from the 2018-19 to 2019-20 school year.

Things to Know: (Details Below)


  • Our Annual Garage Sale, our first of the year and largest fundraiser, is coming up and we need volunteers to make it a success. We’re shooting for $4K-$5K this year. We take donated items from the community and sell them at a HUGE garage sale. Spread the word to family, friends, and neighbors that we need CLEAN, UNBROKEN, READY TO SELL items

    Donation Collection is every Sunday from 3PM-5PM and Wednesday from 6PM-8PM at Tigard High through August 11th (plus a final work day on August 14th)

    We need study, stackable boxes that close or have lids, so if you see them available please grab them.

    The Garage Sale is 9AM – 3PM August 16th & 17th at the Southwest Church of Christ on Durham Rd. We need volunteers for setup, cashier, and general help.

  • Marching Band Camp starts on August 14th. Get the info on McKee’s Fabulous Forum:

  • All Band Member Band Camp (Mandatory) is Aug 22nd 1PM-3PM, Fri, Aug 23rd 1PM-5PM
    This is for all CONCERT/ SYMPHONIC BAND, WIND ENSEMBLE, PERCUSSION, JAZZ ENSEMBLE students. You will be learning a great deal of music and preparing for a variety of performances.


  • Band Picnic & BBQ / First Meeting will be August 23rd @ 6PM at Tigard High
    There will be music, provided by YOUR STUDENTS!

    Then we will have the meeting where will meet your Band & Auxiliary Booster Leadership Team, Band Directors, learn more about the upcoming wonderfulness that is the band & auxiliary program.

    Other things to do at the meeting:

    – Pay band & auxiliary program dues
    – Sign up for stuff

    Burgers/dogs & drinks will be provided. We ask each family to bring other food items and have a break down by last name listed below.

    Please bring a dish or item based on your students last name.
    A-G – Fruits & Veggies
    H-L – Sides (chips, dips, favorite side dish, etc)
    M-R – Desserts
    S-Z – Salad

PS: On 7/9 the Band Booster website host, Dreamhost (free hosting for us!), will be upgrading the operating system our site runs on between 4:00pm PDT and 7:00pm PDT. The Band Booster website will be unreachable for brief periods while they work on the server.
